There is more than one opposite of truth-telling, and more than one way of deceiving with truths. Discussing the value and the limitations of truthfulness, we will review Harry Frankfurt’s notion of bullshit, including in political discourse, and discuss how bullshitting works, and what, if anything, is wrong with it.
