Contribution of Confraternities and Guilds to the Urban Soundscape in the Iberian Peninsula, c.1400-c.1700
The main objective of the CONFRASOUND project is to research and analyse the devotional and musical activities of confraternities and guilds in the Iberian world from a multidisciplinary and holistic perspective. Data from archival sources and other written evidence (of all kinds) will be studied through a discrete analytical database (CONFRASOUND) that will be linked to the open digital platform Historical Soundscapes / Paisajes Sonoros Históricos and the Urbanmusics web page.
