Nota biográfica:
INÊS TADEU FG is a graduate of English and German Languages and Literature and a post-graduate of Anglo-American Culture and Literature by the University of Madeira. After briefly attending Brown University in RI, USA, as a visiting student, she was invited to join the University of Madeira as a lecturer in 2000. In 2011, she was a member of the organising committee of the International Conference “Debating Woman: Past and Present.” A junior member of CIERL (Research Centre for Regional and Local Studies of the University of Madeira) and of the Intercontinental Cross-Currents Network: Women’s (Net)Works across Europe and the Americas; she is at present a Doctoral candidate – in the final stages of her dissertation - at the University of Minho, in Cultural Studies, namely North-American Culture with emphasis on Women Studies and the (trans)cultural memory of the woman-as-witch.

2013 – ... – A realizar o 3º Ciclo de Estudos – Doutoramento (sem componente curricular) – no Ramo de Ciências da Cultura, Especialidade de Cultura Norte-Americana, no Departamento de Estudos Ingleses e Norte-Americanos, Instituto de Letras e Ciências Humanas, Universidade do Minho; sob a orientação dos Professores Doutores Jaime José Becerra Costa (Universidade do Minho) e Maria Zina Gonçalves de Abreu (Professora Jubilada).
2001 – 2002 – Conclusão da Parte Curricular do 1º Curso de Mestrado de Cultura e Literatura Anglo-Americanas pela Universidade da Madeira, com a classificação média de “MUITO BOM”.
Setembro de 2000 – “Visiting student” na Universidade de Brown, Rhode Island, EUA: frequência de dez sessões de cada um dos seminários “Structure and History of the English Language” e “Eighteenth-Century Transatlanticism”.
1996 – 2000 – Licenciatura (Pré-Bolonha) em Línguas e Literaturas Anglo-Germanísticas, pela Universidade da Madeira, com a classificação final de 15 (quinze) valores.
