Clara Setas obtained her Master's Degree in German-Portuguese Studies at the University of Minho and the Goethe-University Frankfurt with the thesis "Proposal of a digital interface for assessing the linguistic proficiency of children of Portuguese heritage in the diaspora". Clara is currently working on her PhD project in Language Sciences, in the field of Applied Linguistics. The project entitled "Assessment of PFL proficiency: Factors influencing learner performance in different cloze test formats" is supervised by Prof. Dr. Cristina Flores, Prof. Dr. Idalete Dias (both senior researchers at CEHUM, University of Minho, School of Arts and Humanities), and Prof. Dr. Irene Cadime (CIPsi, University of Minho, School of Psychology). This work is supported by FCT - Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia, I.P. by project reference 2022.09752.BD and DOI identifier https://doi.org/10.54499/2022.09752.BD.
